WILPF welcomes all women and men who support WILPF's work for peace with justice. While we still have far to go in our struggle for a just and peaceful world, it is comforting to know you can help make these victories possible. Together we can make a difference.
WILPF Members Stand for:
- The equality of all people in a world free of sexism, racism, homophobia, ageism, classism, and all other forms of oppression.
- The transfer of U.S. resources from military uses to human needs.
- An end to all forms of violence: rape, battering, poverty, intervention, and war.
- World disarmament and the peaceful resolution of international conflict through the United Nations.
WILPF Members Will:
- Be part of a worldwide sisterhood of peace and justice activists as members of the local Branch as well as National and International WILPF.
- Be linked to local WILPF Branches to build grassroots power for justice in our communities.
- Receive our national publication, Peace and Freedom.
- Receive the Branch newsletter, the Undaunted Dove.
- Have opportunities to develop leadership at local meetings as well as regional, national, and international meetings.
How to Join WILPF Santa Cruz
There are two ways to become a WILPF member. You may pay your dues annually or become a Monthly Pledging Member. By becoming a pledging member, you don't have to worry about remembering to send in annual dues and you can provide WILPF with a consistent monthly income. Your monthly pledge can be as little as $5 or as much as you can afford. Please consider this form of membership.
